Our friends Richard and Mirella suggested for us to have a games night, which we do at times. So Steve and I decided to have them over and cook for them. After dinner we all when down to the basement to play our favourite board game cranium. Unknowingly Richard and Steve had already set up a hidden camera in one of the potted plants to capture the proposal. We all started to play the game, when it came to card that read "Star Performance" where everyone had to participate in acting out a scenario. Richard and Mirella were puppeteers while Steve and I were the puppets. In the mist of all the strange movements our friends were making us do, Richard positioned Steve down on his knee where Steve all of a sudden pulled out a ring box. I was shocked, exclaiming "What are you doing? This is cranium!" We were all laughing so hard. Steve opened the box and there was my beautiful diamond ring. He proclaimed his love in front of our friends and asked me to marry him. I was so excited I said yes before he could finish his sentence. The waterworks followed, then the reveal that it was all on tape!
